Madras High Court Appoints First Woman Mace Bearer

On March 14 last year, the High Court had issued a notification for recruiting 40 chobdars, 310 office assistants and also for stray vacancies in the posts of cook, waterman, room boy, watchman, book restorer and library attendant on its official website.

Justice Manjula is currently a member of the Gender Sensitization and Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) at the Principal Seat of the Madras High Court.

In a first, the Madras High Court has appointed a woman mace bearer. Justice R.N Manjula is the first to utilise the services of the court’s first woman Mace Bearer.
